The Oasis of Fint and Chez Rachid are
located in a picturesque valley just five kilometers outside of the town of
Ouarzazate- the famous “Hollywood” of Morocco. Many American films have been
shot in the surrounding area of Ouarzazate and Fint, such as " Lawrence of
Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, Jewel of the Nile, Harem, The Sheltering Sky,
Gladiator, as well as many others by French, British, German, Spanish and
Moroccan film makers. The location of Fint is
nestled along the river, beneath majestic rock formations and provides ample
opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings and relax in the
rejuvenating serenity of the area.

This area is good for hiking, trekking,
rock climbing, camping, and meditation. You are sure to be invited for
participation in a Berber tea ceremony or to learn to cook Moroccan cuisine,
or if very lucky, a riveting musical performance.

desert treks, ATV rides, viewing local filming crews, and 4x4 rides in the
desert.
